SUNKAIER's kneader's stirring shaft and disc segments can be heated or cooled, providing a very large heat exchange surface relative to its volume. The intensive mixing and kneading action, coupled with the self-cleaning of the heated surface, combine to break up the high viscosity material crusting or caking, ensuring a high rate of surface renewal of the product, as well as heat and steam transfer.
